Hello! April flew by — let’s catch up on some things I designed this month and what I’ve been up to.
DESIGN
Tour poster for Ron Gallo and show poster for Gracie Abrams at the Fillmore. Something very excited that finally came out this month was more merch I made for Elton John’s Farewell tour, specifically in Europe with a special merch pop-up design in London. Super surreal seeing something I designed blown up on a wall for people all over the world to sign. The EU tour shirt is available online, the London specific t-shirt is for pop-up only.

MOVIES
Some highlights for this month
Beau Is Afraid ☆☆☆☆
Absolutely love Ari Aster and the intricate worlds he creates, I genuinely think he’s mastered his craft in horror movies (I hope he makes more — this horror comedy is cool but I want more stuff like Hereditary). This isn’t my favorite of his but visually it was visceral and anxiety inducing.
Evil Dead Rise ☆☆☆☆
I expected to really hate this (I’m a die hard fan of the remake oops) but it was nonstop fun. Campy in parts that referenced the original while still keeping all the nastiness of the 2013 remake. Might have enjoyed this more than Beau, sorry!
The Doom Generation
No rating for this because I both love it and hate it, on paper it makes sense that this would really work for me and parts of it do. Exceptional soundtrack, costumes, corny dialogue… I can get behind most of it. Some scenes were a little too aggressive that I disagreeing with but I’ll leave that off this email thread.
Other watches from Letterboxd:
Salt of This Sea ☆☆☆☆
The Black Phone ☆☆☆
Little Women ☆☆☆
Natural Born Killers ☆☆
MUSIC
Albums I’ve had on repeat:
S/T — Slowdive
Stranger In The Alps — Phoebe Bridgers
Heart Under — Just Mustard
Alien Sunset EP — Cut Worms
(I’ve just been listening to a lot of artists coincidentally on the label I work for?? lol)
I also had a feature with Polyvinyl Records where they asked me to curate a playlist for them to share. The playlist is archived now (to make room for the next feature) but I saved it here
INSPO
You can find my Pinterest here but I figured I’d share some pictures I took on my Sony 2007 digicam while I was in Ireland!

Thanks for reading! See you next month :)
i watched the doom generation about 2 years ago at this point, but i had similar feelings about the film as well! gregg araki can be quite subversive (and utterly disgusting lmao) in his films, but that colorful-acid trip-grittiness is what draws me in his work despite that 🌀
